I want children to be taught about mental health, I want children to bought up and raised not to shun against it and be so ignorant about it.
I want them to learn to understand what it is and how it effects people, I want them to know what it’s like.

I’m sick of seeing and hearing people insult those with a mental illness, Sick of people making jokes out of it, sick of people laughing and making those who suffer feel worse about it. I’m sick of how society shuns and hides away those that are suffering.

Well, Society, I ask you if you’d be so kind to banish me and hide me away, go on, I dare you to do it, but guess what? You never will,  Because yes I may be diagnosed with depression, but you’ll never hide me from view, because I’m going to change the world and I’m going to let the world see and those who pretend that we don’t exist, that we can be incredible and that we are strong!

Mental Illness is a not a joke or something to be shunned against, it’s real, it’s an illness and it’s tough, and I want you to try and understand and realise at the end of the day, we’re still people just like you!
